Clo Glassworks http://www.cloglassworks.com
In addition to designing and making these Orthodox Wedding Crowns, I am also a glass
artist. This is the website where I sell my lampwork glass beads, pendants, jewelry,
and other items. It's an excellent place to look for fun, colorful, and unique wedding
party jewelry and gifts!
Circle City Copperworks www.circlecitycopperworks.com
This amazaing group of artists and craftsmen are located in Indianapolis, IN (same city as me...in fact they're just about 10 minutes away from my house!). They ship nationwide and are up for any challenge you can throw their way. They have experience making gorgeous copper baptismal fonts and large crosses...So if your church is looking for some new items, wanting to refurbish their domes, etc...I highly recommend that you consider CCC. This company supplies me with my copper, aluminum, stainless steel, and brass. If you ever give them a call (and you should) mention that you read about them here...they'll be extra nice (although they are already the nicest group of guys you could ever hope to work with)!
Kyoto Kimono http://www.kyotokimono.com
Ok, so I thought my job was unique...and fun! And then I came across http://www.kyotokimono.com. Owner Nancy McDonough started a company that salvages the fabric from used, surplus, damaged, Kimonos! They also sell vintage and new Kimonos and all the accesories. How cool is that? I'm one of Nancy's "Buncdle Club" members, and each month she sends me fabrics that I get to then turn into crowns...giving these gorgeous fabrics a second life. Take a look at her site--you'll be amazed at everything she has to offer...I really want one of those robes....
