Kimono Crown—Aimi
The Aimi crowns are not only made of a very unique fabric, they’re of a style and coloring that are quite different for me. The Aimi crowns are another in my series of textile crowns made from salvaged kimonos. So not only are these crowns unique and one of a kind, they have a lot of history to them.
But let’s look at the pattern on the fabric itself…it’s quite bold! I usually tend toward more subtle patterns or patterns that are consistent across the whole of the crown….so this was a really fun departure for me. I was inspired when I saw the splash of red and golden/burnt orange coloration on one area of this champagne colored fabric! Each crown features this splash of unexpected color off to the right hand side of the crown. Georgeous!
This crown features a gold satin connecting ribbon, attached via the ‘tie’ style.
I only have a few set of these crowns available—once they’re gone, they’re gone!
These crowns are formed into traditional circular, 7” diameter shape.
Price: $90
I'm sorry, but these crowns are currently unavailable.
