Olympus Crowns

IMPORTANT UPDATE!
November 1 is going to be the cut-off date for customization ...i.e. adding any kind of engraving. making changes to any of the crowns that you see online, etc.

All orders that require engraving or are a custom design MUST BE PLACED BY Nov 1!!!! (for the next several weeks, I will allow ribbon color requests, until I get all the pictures updated and posted with their "stock" ribbon color/style)

Why?

My husband and I will be moving to England for 6 months. We leave in January and will return in July. During the time that we are gone, my father will be shipping out orders for me. But I need some time before we leave to make up plenty of stock to be available for immediate shipment while we are away. The only way I can think to do this is to focus on just making "stock" crowns, so that ordering is easy. And I need to have time to do that, so that I can make plenty of stock to last 6 months.

Therefore, I have made the difficult decision that I have to cut-off any customization options starting in Nov, in order to make my goals a little more achievable. I do realize the irony, since my whole tag-line here is CUSTOM made crowns.

To make-up for the fact that you will not be able to add any engravings to your crowns, nor will you be able to change the ribbon color/attachment styles, I will be posting a ton of new crowns for you to choose among. Additionally, I think I will start a little "return for engraving at a later date" program for anyone who really wants an engraving added for posterity's sake.

Candles, ornaments and trays will also still be available during this time.

A new version of my website has just fone live, I am still working to get all the new products and info posted. Please feel free to email or call with any questions.

Within a few weeks the site will feature

*an integrated check-out cart/payment page. All available items will have an "add to cart" button. there should be NO confusion over what crowns are available.

*specific candle sets will be listed, to make it easier to match up coordinating sets to your crowns

*trays will have their own page, with add to cart buttons

*specific ornaments/cake toppers will be listed, with add to cart buttons.

*And while I will not be emailing photos of your finished crowns before they ship, like I do now, I will guarantee that what you will receive will be exactly what you see online.

*All the same guarantees will apply: if you're not happy with what you receive, simply return it for a refund or exchange.

*I will be in constant email contact, of course. so you are ALWAYS welcome to call or email me with any questions you have over anything you see online.

I sincerely apologize in advance if my upcoming travel plan complicate things for you and cause any undue stress. The whole goal here is to make you shopping experience my easier, despite the fact that I won't be able to engrave things for awhile. I truly appreciate your understanding for the next several months.

Sept 30,

The trays have started to arrive --and they're beautiful! I'm very excited to start offering these. My very tech/web-savvy husband, Josh, IS working on creating a page for trays (will be just like the crown page entries), and is also working on integrating a shopping cart system into the website.

I'm not sure when all that will be done, so in the meantime, I'm probably going to start a super-simple page for the trays just to start showing them to you. I'll keep you posted on that.

 

Sept 22,

Lots of new things to report this week:

*I Finally found a source for some great silver trays--and even some copper ones. I just ordered them. They'll be in next week...These are trays that I will be able to engrave--true keepsakes!

*I have a handful of new crown ideas..from hammered silver, gold, or copper crowns to the other end of the spectrum: dried flower crowns.

*Because of the new trays, and changes in some crown offerings, I'm going to revamping the site a but over the next few weeks (or rather, my husband will be revamping the site!!) Along with altering a few of the crown collections, and adding in more products I am considering adding in an official shopping cart-checkout system. I haven't integrated a shopping cart into the site yet, because of all the different customization options you have. But i think that, if what you want is just exactly what you see on the website, then it'd be more appropriate for you to be able to check out faster with an integrated cart/checkout system.

*Another reason why I am considering adding in the shopping cart is because next year could being a few changes to my business. My husband's work is sending him to England for 6 months at some point next year....we don't have the dates yet. I really want to go with him. My father has already agreed to move into our house and become my "shipping manager". The plan is that I will have a TON of stock crowns made up and ready to go (this also means no engraving or customization options). And you will still email me with your order (or if there is a shopping cart system on the site, then you just check-out).

I'm already working on an organizational system where my father will just have to pull out the proper box, put the shipping label on it, and it's off. Every single crown will still have been made by me, packaged by me...the only change is that I won't be able to engrave any crowns for this 6 month time period, or alter ribbon colors/attachment styles. It will be very clear which crowns are available and in stock. Everything will still ship via USPS Priority Mail. Candles and trays will still be available during this time. Since this information could be potentially impact what crowns you order/when you order, I will be posting more information on all of this as soon as I have it. We are very anxious to have the details settled, as you may imagine. I'll let you all know as soon as I know.

Until then, it's business as usual! ...but with a lot of fun things going on right now. I'll get those new crowns and trays posted as soon as I possibly can. and Please hang in there while re-work the site a little bit.
